Maria Xagorari
I 'll know when I do.

Recently I learned a very important lesson: you may learn things about your painting anytime, at any improbable circumstance, during an apparently irrelevant conversation. For one reason or another I have been very attentive lately. I seem to have been learning things...

This is a painting which, I think, marks the end of empty spaces around my figures. It also marks the beginning of the use of a larger palette (meaning more colours).

Usually, titles form in my brain as paintings appear on canvas. This one I don't know and for the time being I don't care. I 'll know when I do.

This looks like it will be called "Ditch". I often choose my titles just by looking at the paintings. It is often about impression and not intention.
