These are just some photos of the paintings I have been working in lately, the last version of Hanjo's portrait and Miguel's, head.Somehow they seem to relate to each other in curious silent dialogues.
Images of the paintings while unfinished, still in the easel, waiting for me, still free to turn into something different.

I was photographing Hanjo's big portrait, and took these two and when I saw them I thought there was a kind of relation between them, curious because I never painted thinking of "series" or relating one painting to the other in order to have what they call a coherent ouvre, so it was a surprise to see it.

I liked the contrast between both sizes of the same face, and then I went on photographing the paintings that were sitting one by the other, the relation between them was so evident that it even surprised me!

Just another image of an unfinished painting that receives me every evening as I get to the studio, I like paintings when they are still free to change..
