Autumn

Can an ideal be in a seasonal state?
Winter will follow and then springtime will be back again.
The purpose is to express this feeling through a still life and in a figurative manner.
Following the ancient masters, a still life with "vanitas" and the old technique might be a way.

I found the elements in my garden and in my gardens tools hut.

At the end i have choosen this. ( the market box is used just to shade the light

Grazie Vincenzo.

Caspita! You've even gone ahead and made a painting based on your composition:
LINK!
There's so much of potential interest here - your exploration of the garden, arriving at the final arrangement, and the whole episode of it's rendition as a painting. I'd love to see this documented step-by-step in a studio log following each decision of your artist's progress.
For your next project Vincenzo, please document and comment at every step along the way!

This is the final version.
It seems not to raise much enthusiam to many cause they say it evokes sadness; but that was what i wanted to achieve!
